Upcoming Pathway Upgrade – What to Expect

Next week, Chichester District Council (CDC) will be upgrading the paved area around the pond with self-binding stone gravel—the same material recently installed on the path from Chichester Road and on the South Side many years ago.

This upgrade will improve drainage and help eliminate the tripping hazard caused by uneven pavers, making the area safer and more accessible for all visitors.

Please be aware that during the upgrade, the area may look unsightly for a short period, but rest assured, this change brings long-term benefits for both the environment and those who enjoy the pond.

As of Friday 21st March, Chichester District Council have now completed the paving upgrade which can be seen below in the pictures.
