Looking for volunteers to help with community work

We really need your help to continue our programme of community activities for the people of Midhurst.

The South Pond Group are local volunteers committed to the care and improvement of South Pond and Jubilee Path in Midhurst.

Every year we plan and hold community events, usually during MADhurst, giving families lots of interesting things to do while raising awareness of the pond. We also support local schools by providing pond dipping and other activities around the pond, usually in June and July. We also run bat safaris and moth identification days.

We need some help planning and managing these events. If you have some time to spare and are interested in helping people enjoy the environment of the pond please do get in touch. We would really welcome people who have experience of supporting community events or engaging children and young people.

If you’re interested in joining our friendly and devoted South Pond Group, please drop us an email at southpondgroup@gmail.com or contacting us on Facebook or Instagram at @southpondgroupmidhurst
